About Us...

Holy Comforter is a traditional, family-oriented, Anglo-Catholic parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Ft Worth.  Founded in the 1870's by the missionary bishop of Texas, the Church of the Holy Comforter is one of the oldest churches in the diocese and in the City of Cleburne.

Although we are quite traditional in our theology and liturgy we seek to make inroads into contemporary culture through relevant biblical preaching and an emphasis on Christian Education and growth for people of all ages.  We also place a high priority on fellowship within the life of the Church as a means of growing closer to one another and to Christ.

Holy Comforter is a diverse parish encompassing and welcoming people from all backgrounds into the fellowship of Christ's One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
