Father McHenry's bio...

Father Richard E. McHenry retired as rector of Holy Comforter in April of 2004, having served diligently in that capacity since 1991. 

Born in Arizona, he grew up in Missouri and served as a Presbyterian Minister for several years before being ordained to the priesthood in 1967.  He then served parishes in Missouri and Ft Worth before coming to Cleburne. 

In both Missourri and Ft Worth he has been active on the diocesan level.  He is a member of the Catholic Clerical Union (CCU) and is a priest of the Society of the Holy Cross (SSC).

Known affectionately to one and all as "Padre", he continues his ministry at Holy Comforter and in the community of Cleburne even in his retirement.
